Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Gridproof (the "Service"), a Shopify application operated by Anis Apps ("we", "us"), France. By installing or using the Service you agree to these terms on behalf of the store that installs it.
1. The Service
Gridproof performs bulk edits on your Shopify product catalog: it snapshots the fields a job may change, previews every change for your confirmation, applies confirmed changes through Shopify's API, re-reads the affected entities to verify the outcome, and keeps an audit log and time-limited rollback capability. The Service acts only on your explicit, typed confirmation of each job.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for reviewing each job's preview before confirming it. The preview shows the exact changes that will be written.
- You must maintain the rights required to modify the product data your store holds.
- You must not use the Service to violate Shopify's terms, applicable law, or third-party rights, nor attempt to probe, overload, or disrupt the Service.
3. Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system under the pricing shown on the app's listing and Plans page. Trials, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation take effect per Shopify's billing rules. Uninstalling the app cancels billing. Snapshot retention follows your plan tier; downgrading shortens the retention window for future jobs but never blocks a rollback of an existing snapshot within its window.
4. Data
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. On uninstall, all store data is erased per the GDPR process described there.
5. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; Shopify API availability and rate limits are outside our control. We may improve or modify the Service, and may discontinue it with reasonable notice, during which your data remains exportable (CSV/JSONL).
6. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is". Gridproof's verification reports what the Shopify API returns on re-read; it cannot detect changes outside the fields it manages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer or commercial protections of your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
